    Pizzaiola Sauce

     
    • Serves Makes 300ml
    • Preparation time 10 minutes
    • Cooking time 20 minutes
  • Ingredients
     
    • 500g ripe vine tomatoes, small chunks
    • 1 large clove garlic, finely diced
    • juice of 1 lemon
    • 1 tsp paprika
    • 1 tsp dried oregano
    • ½ tsp chilli powder
    • Fine sea salt and cracked black pepper
  • Method
     
    1. Place all the ingredients into a saucepan
    2. Bring to the boil, put on a lid, and turn down the heat
    3. Simmer for 15 mins Liquidise the sauce – then sieve and serve
