Based in Inverurie, but suitable for a Hybrid working model, this individual will be responsible for:
The management and control of ERP, Business systems & infrastructure, Business transformation, Digitisation, Efficiency Projects and other key business projects; ensuring that they are maintained and developed in line with the business needs and strategy.
Oversee hardware and systems to minimise the potential for business interruption.
Provide project management to ERP and a range of business transformation projects.
Production of regular updates to key business stakeholders and board members.
Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations with thorough communication and collaboration.
Continual review of Business Infrastructure, Technology and Transformation Trends.
Continual analysis of current operations, processes and procedures to identify and document opportunities for improvement, implementing those agreed.
Analyse, plan, strategize and co-ordinate ERP & Technology requirements, from both an internal IT perspective and from the perspective of internal departments.
Identifying and evaluating future operating model and strategy for the business.
Working with the Business Transformation Director to plan, design and deliver the business transformation programme.
Plan and manage operational and capital expenditure budgets yearly and projected five yearly plans.
Contribute to the effective planning of Business Systems projects (e.g. ERP) to meet targets and minimise disruption.
Plan, strategise and action activities related to Disaster Recovery, Resilience / Contingency.
Oversea and control planned and critical system upgrades and updates.
Understand and comply with technology legislative conformities, maintaining up-to-date knowledge with all legislation ensuring compliance to relevant standards and laws.
Ensure the business follows suitable system security checks, policies, protocols and procedures that are fit for purpose and performed to the required standards.
Effective communication with personnel regarding ERP Business System issues and requirements.
Manage suppliers and contractors, administering contracts, licences and negotiating the best solutions for the business.
Develop and regularly review KPIs against agreed targets, put in place remedial action to ensure they are met consistently.
Skills and Experience:
Previous ERP, Business Systems and Processes experience. Exposure to food manufacturing / production/ FMCG and delivering to BRC standards is desirable however any experience in a relevant sector will be considered.
A proven track record of ERP, Cloud, Automation and SQL systems implementation, management & support.
Good understanding of operational efficiency and technology enhancement methods and implementation of digitisation strategies.
Project management experience with formal qualifications advantageous.
Experience of coaching, mentoring and leading teams across multi-disciplined business areas.
Exceptional change management and communication skills.
Effective time management and organisational skills, ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
The ability to take ownership and work autonomously.
The ability to strategise and formulate processes, policies and procedures.
Proven ability to take responsibility and challenge appropriately.
Developing great working relationships and effective interdepartmental communication encouraging collaborative working at all levels.
A ‘can-do’ approach who will both manage and undertake ERP, Business Systems and Business Transformation duties.
Must be highly motivated and able to work with limited supervision in a demanding role.
Good organizational ability.
The ability to work in a team and on your own initiative while supporting your wider departmental colleagues if help is needed.
Driven by a desire to produce excellent work, both individually and as part of a highly motivated team.
Strong work ethic – willing and able to work extra hours if required to ensure critical and key tasks are completed.
