Product description

Handmade from grass-fed British lamb, these savoury, spicy koftas are a great addition to any barbecue. Serve in pitta bread with tzatziki and lettuce for a light summer time dinner.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Cooking guidelines from defrosted:

About 10 minutes before cooking, remove the koftas from the packaging and allow to come to room temperature.

Preheat a heavy frying pan, ridged griddle pan, grill or BBQ to a medium-high temperature.

Add a little oil to the pan or brush directly onto the koftas.

Cook the koftas for 7-8 minutes, turning occasionally.

Place the koftas on a rack, cover loosely with foil and allow to rest for 3-5 minutes before serving. Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving.

Judges Comments: These evenly-shaped koftas look and smell very enticing. The judges loved the coarse texture of the meat and found the koftas very juicy, with a good balance of spiced, savoury flavours. The amount of spicing is quite good but maybe a little too heavy-handed with the chilli heat

These koftas are just fantastic. Fantastic meat, seasoned with absolute precision. We adored the spice level and the waves of flavour that goes from lamb to cumin to mint to chilli. We do not know how this could be improved. It is a restaurant quality product, truly artisan and worthy of stars.
