The superb texture and unique depth of flavour of Wagyu beef creates an extraordinary culinary experience. Ours is sourced from Darling Downs in Australia, one of the most prestigious Wagyu suppliers in the world. Bred from a cross of Wagyu and Aberdeen Angus cattle, for fantastic marbling and rich beef flavour, it's grain fed, as is traditional for Wagyu beef, on a family farm. Wagyu is scored on a marbling rating of 1 -9. Ours scores between 3 and 5 on this scale, meaning that's it's heavily marbled, but you still get more meat than fat! Our butchers carefully hand cut each precious fillet, ribeye and sirloin steak. From the offcuts we make a fantastic Wagyu Steak Burger - once tasted, never forgotten!
Cooking guidelines from defrosted:
About 20 minutes before cooking, remove the burgers from the packaging and allow them to come to room temperature.
Preheat a heavy frying pan, ridged griddle pan, grill or BBQ to a medium-high temperature.
Cook the burgers for 9-11minutes, turning occasionally.
Don't press down while cooking as this can dry them out.
Place the burgers on a rack, cover loosely with foil and leave to rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.
This product must be cooked thoroughly prior to consumption.
