This boneless roast is a favourite with those who want the succulent breast of the turkey. A mouthwatering centrepiece, with a juicy texture, it is a simple roasting joint with all the flavour of a whole turkey. Serve with our Festive Fruity Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce and Sourdough Bread Sauce for a traditional feast.

 

Cooking Instructions:
 

Defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator for 48 hours before cooking.

Cooking guidelines from defrosted: Remove all packaging.

Take the defrosted turkey from the fridge one hour before cooking.

Pre-heat the oven to 190°C / fan 170°C / gas 5.

Weigh and place turkey in a roasting tray, brush with butter season and cover loosely with foil.

Roast for 50 minutes per kilo, basting occasionally.

20 minutes before the end, remove foil and return to the oven until the juices at the thickest part run clear, or the centre reaches 75°c Allow to rest at room temperature, loosely covered with foil for 30 minutes.
