If you’re trying to eat less meat, but still want the rich flavour and succulent tenderness you expect from a Donald Russell steak, this is for you. Our award-winning Sirloin Steak is cut thinner, delicious as a light meal or quick to cook on the barbecue.
Preheat a large heavy based frying pan over a high heat. Pat the steak lightly with kitchen paper, then brush with oil.
Cook to your liking following the recommended times:
Rare: 1 minute, turning only once, rest for 2-3 minutes
Medium: 1½ minutes turning only once, rest for 2-3 minutes
Well Done: 3 minutes turning only once, rest for 1-2 minute
Remove from the pan, keep warm and leave to rest for the recommended time.
