Cooking Instructions:
 
Free-range Corn-fed Whole Chicken
Cooking guidelines from defrosted: defrost thoroughly before cooking. Remove the chicken from packaging, pat dry with kitchen paper and allow to come to room temperature, this is for even cooking.

Preheat the oven to 230°C / fan 210°C / gas 8, season the chicken with salt and pepper. Place chicken in a roasting tray and cook for 15 minutes.

Reduce the oven temperature to 180°C / fan 160°C / gas 4 and cook for a further 12-15 minutes per 450g.

Once cooked rest in a warm place until ready to serve.

Ensure product is piping hot throughout.
Do not reheat once cooked.

Red Cabbage with Beetroot
Cooking guidelines from defrosted:

Microwave (750W): remove outer sleeve and pierce film lid. Cook for 3 minutes and stir thoroughly, leave to stand for 1 minute and serve.

Oven: remove outer sleeve and pierce film lid. Place the container onto a baking tray in the centre of a pre-heated oven 190°C / gas 5 for 15-20 minutes. Stir and serve.

Roast Potatoes with Beef Dripping
Cooking guidelines from frozen: preheat oven with a tray inside to 210°C / fan 200°C / gas 7. Remove outer sleeve & film.

Lightly oil the preheated tray then carefully add the potatoes and top with the butter pellet. Cook in the centre of the preheated oven for 30-33 minutes.

Turn carefully, halfway through cooking time. Season to taste & serve.

Carrots with Wild Garlic Butter
Cooking guidelines from defrosted: preheat a medium sized heavy based, non-stick frying pan to a medium-high heat.

Lightly oil the base then carefully place in the carrots. Fry for 3 minutes, turning carefully occasionally to colour and heat through.

After 3 minutes, add the butter pellet and use to baste & glaze the carrots as it melts. Season to taste and serve.

Lightly oil the preheated tray then carefully spread the carrots out and top with the butter pellet.
