Enjoy the delicious flavours of slow-cooked pork, beef & chicken with our Staycation Slow Cooked Feast for 4 . Containing juicy pork ribs, smothered in a sticky barbecue sauce, our Slow-cooked Half Chicken with gentle garlic & herb seasoning and our melt-in-the-mouth tender Slow-cooked Beef Short Rib. A holiday feast that's packed full of rich flavour.

 

Cooking Instructions:
 
Slow-Cooked Pork Ribs with Barbecue Sauce
Cooking guidelines from frozen:

Oven: remove all packaging and empty the contents into an ovenproof dish sauce side up and cover.

Heat in the centre of a preheated oven at 200°C / fan 180°C /gas 6, for 25 minutes.

Remove the cover, baste and cook for a further 5-8 minutes until piping hot throughout. Carefully remove the dish from the oven, baste the ribs and serve.

Microwave: Pierce pouch twice near the top. Place the pouch in a suitable microwavable dish ensuring the pouch is upright to prevent the sauce from escaping.

Cook on full power for 9 minutes (800W), 8 minutes (900W).

Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving. After standing carefully open the pouch with scissors and empty the contents onto a plate, baste the ribs and serve.

Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving.
Do not reheat once cooked.

Slow-Cooked Half Chicken
Cooking guidelines: cut along the top of the pouch and place the chicken skin side up into an ovenproof dish and cover with foil.

Heat in the centre of a preheated oven at 200°C / fan 180°C / gas 6.

From defrosted: for 30 minutes. Remove the foil, baste and cook for a further 10-15 minutes uncovered.
From frozen: for 50 minutes. Remove the foil, baste and cook for a further 10-20 minutes uncovered.

Carefully remove the dish from the oven.

Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving.
Do not reheat once cooked.

Slow-Cooked Beef Short Rib
Cooking guidelines: leave the product for 20 minutes at room temperature in its bag prior to roasting.

Remove all packaging and place bone side down, with all fat and liquid onto a baking tray. Cook in a preheated oven at 200°C / fan 190°C / gas 6 for:

40-45 minutes from defrosted
50-55 minutes from frozen

Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
Ensure the product is piping hot throughout.
Do not reheat once cooked.

Once cooked, the pan juices will be concentrated and highly flavoured. To use as a gravy, dilute to taste with water, light stock or wine.
