A classic half chicken, scattered with parsley and thyme, with half a fresh lemon tucked underneath as it slow cooks to tender, juicy perfection.
Cooking guidelines: allow product to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes, whether frozen or defrosted.
Remove packaging, emptying full contents into a heatproof dish, placing chicken skin side up.
Oven: preheat to 200°C / fan 190°C / gas 6 and heat uncovered for:
45-50 minutes from frozen
30-35 minutes from defrosted
Microwave: based on 850W.
Loosely cover and heat for:
13-14 minutes from frozen
7-8 minutes from defrosted
Stir / baste halfway through cooking time (either method).
Before serving, ensure meat is piping hot throughout.
For best results, we recommend heating in the oven from frozen.
Do not reheat.
