Slow Cooked Black Forest Venison Casserole

Rich, juicy Scottish venison, slow cooked with sweet cherry and tasty smoked pancetta for a taste of the Black Forest. A delicious combination.

 

Cooking Instructions:
 
Microwave: based on 800W. Pierce film and cook for 5 minutes.

Carefully stir product, replace film and cook for a further:

4 minutes from frozen
2 minutes from defrosted


Stir before serving.

On the hob: Defrost in fridge overnight. Remove film and empty the contents of the tray into a saucepan. Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until piping hot.

Oven: Pierce film and cook in preheated oven at 200ºC / fan 180ºC / gas 6

from frozen: 40-45 minutes
from defrosted: 30-35 minutes
.

Stir, leave it to stand for 1 minute before serving.

Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving.
Do not reheat once cooked.
