Grass-fed meat is more nutrient-rich and lower in fat than grain-fed meat, with a higher concentration of healthy omega 3
For best results, cook from frozen.
Allow the Slow Cooked Beef in Port & Balsamic to sit in the bag at room temperature for 10 minutes prior to heating, whether frozen or defrosted.
MICROWAVE: Based on 800W. Tip the bag into a microwave-safe dish, cover and cook
FROM FROZEN: 6-7 minutes
FROM DEFROSTED: 2-3 minutes
Half way through cooking time, remove cover carefully and stir once.
Re-cover and continue to heat until piping hot. Stir again before serving.
OVEN: Tip the bag into an ovenproof dish along with all liquid.
Cook in a preheated oven at 180 C / Fan 160 C / Gas 4 for:
FROM FROZEN: 40 - 45 minutes
FROM DEFROSTED: 30 - 35 minutes
Stir/baste half way through cooking.
HOB: Defrost in refrigerator overnight. Tip the bag into a saucepan.
Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until piping hot.
Ensure product is piping hot throughout. Do not reheat.
