With our succulent Extra Trimmed Rump Roast, traditionally matured for the most intensely rich flavour, along with our Chef's premium, fully-prepared sides and plenty of steaming hot gravy. Follow it up with our delicious, classic British Bramley Apple Pies for a full meal for four.

 

Cooking Instructions:
 
Extra Trimmed Rump Roast
Cooking guidelines from defrosted: remove all packaging and pat dry with kitchen paper. Allow 30 minutes for the meat to come to room temperature.

Preheat oven to 250°C / fan 230°C / gas 9. Place the joint in a roasting tray. Season with salt and pepper.

Sear meat for 15 minutes in the oven. Then reduce the oven temperature to 190°C / fan 170°C / gas 5 and continue cooking for time below:

Rare: 20-24 minutes (internal temperature of meat: 45-47°C)
Medium: 28-32 minutes (internal temperature of meat: 55-60°C)
Well done: 40-44 minutes (internal temperature of meat: 72-75°C)

Keep warm and rest for at least 10-15 minutes before carving.

Goose Fat Roast Potatoes with Rosemary Butter
Cooking guidelines from frozen: preheat oven with a tray inside to 210°C / fan 200°C / gas 7. Remove film.

Carefully place the potatoes on to the preheated tray in a single layer and cook in the centre of the oven for 30-35 minutes. Gently turn the potatoes halfway through cooking time to ensure an even crispness.

Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving.
Do not reheat once cooked.

Carrot & Parsnip Mash
Cooking guidelines from defrosted:Microwave (based on 750W): remove outer sleeve and pierce film lid. cook for 3 minutes and stir thoroughly, leave to stand for 1 minute and serve.

Oven: remove outer sleeve and pierce film lid. Place the container onto a baking tray in the centre of a pre-heated oven 190°C / gas 5 for 20-25 minutes. Stir and serve.

Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving.

Homestyle Yorkshire Puddings
Cooking guidelines from frozen: preheat oven to 200°C / fan 180°C / gas 6. Remove all packaging.

Place the puddings on a baking tray and place in the centre of the oven. Cook for 6 minutes or until crisp.

Ensure food is piping hot through before serving.

Not suitable for microwave cooking.

Traditional Gravy
Cooking guidelines from defrosted: break tab, remove the lid then place it loosely back on top of the pot.

Microwave (based on 750-800W): place the pot on a microwavable plate. Heat on full power for 5 minutes, stir halfway through heating. Carefully remove from the microwave, leave to stand for 2 minutes after heating. Stir well before serving.

Caution: steam may escape when removing the lid.

Hob: empty contents into a saucepan. Heat gently over a medium heat. Stir occasionally until piping hot. Do not allow to boil. Serve immediately.

Bramley Apple Pie
Cooking guidelines from frozen: (Please note: using a microwave will make the pastry go soggy).

Preheat oven to 180°C / fan 160°C / gas 4. Remove outer film.

Carefully place each pie, still in its ring onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven.

Carefully transfer the pie in its ring, onto a plate, using a spatula as the ring does not have a bottom. Allow to rest for 3-5 minutes.

Using a knife, loosen the pie from its ring. Carefully open and remove the ring and finish with Donald Russell Vanilla Custard, cream or ice cream. Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving.
