Cooking Instructions:
 
Luxury Figgy Christmas Pudding
Heating guidelines: defrost thoroughly before heating. For best results, heat in the microwave. Remove outer packaging.

Microwave: leave in plastic basin, pierce film. Place upright in microwave and heat for 3 minutes (750W) / 2 minutes 30 seconds (900W). Allow to stand for 2 minutes. Heat for a further 2 minutes 30 seconds (750W) / 2 minutes (900W). Allow to stand for 2 minutes before serving.

Steam: leave in plastic basin with film lid on. Place in a steamer over boiling water, or alternatively, use a large saucepan with a trivet or an upturned heat-resistant saucer.

Place the basin on the trivet / saucer and add boiling water to come 1/3 of the way up the basin. Steam with film lid on for 2 hours 30 minutes, topping up with boiling water as a necessary. Do not allow to boil dry.

Remove the film lid and turn upside down onto a plate. Allow to stand for 2 minutes before serving.

Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving.
Do not reheat once cooked.

Brandy Custard
Cooking guidelines: Microwave from frozen (based on 800W): pull open pack grip seal by about 2cm at one side.

Heat upright in microwave on full power for 1-1½ minutes. Remove from microwave, carefully reseal pack and gently shake to reinvigorate the sauce's smooth, glossy texture. Serve hot.

Hob from defrosted: (pack should take approx. 2 hours to defrost at room temperature.) Decant pack contents into a small pan, bring gently to a simmer for 2-3 minutes whilst stirring occasionally. Serve hot.

Diced figs (18%) (figs, water, rice flour), vine fruits (15%) (sultanas, raisins), fortified WHEAT flour (WHEAT flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin), sugar, cider, vegetable suet (palm oil, rice flour, rapeseed oil), brandy, brandy-soaked glace cherries (cherries, glucose-fructose syrup, brandy, colour (anthocyanins), acidity regulator (citric acid)), humectant (glycerine), dark rum, honey, apple, white rum, molasses, stem ginger (ginger, sugar, water), port, sherry, single cream (MILK), mixed spice, salt, cardamom, nutmeg, yeast, emulsifiers (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, mono- and diacetyltartaric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), WHEAT protein, vinegar, rapeseed oil, palm oil, flour treatment agent (ascorbic acid), palm fat. Brandy Custard
MILK, sugar, Courvoisier V.S cognac (6.8%), cream (MILK), EGG, cornflour, natural madagascan vanilla paste 0.6% (water, ethyl alcohol, extractives of vanilla pods, sugar, vanilla pod seeds, xanthan gum),xanthan gum, modified starch from waxy maize, propylene glycol alginate, guar gum.
