Price per kg:
- 2 Barnsley Lamb Chops, 220g each
- 4 Lamb Leg Steaks, in packs of 2, 240g per pack
Enjoy two of our most popular traditional lamb cuts. Barnsley Chops are cut to include tender loin and fillet meat, complete with bone and fat for extra flavour. Our hearty Lamb Leg Steaks are comprised of full cross-sections of the leg, so they also come with their own flavour-adding bone in the centre. Both are sweet, juicy and utterly delicious!
Remove meat from packaging and allow to come to room temperature.
Preheat a large frying pan.
Brush oil directly onto the sliced and season with salt and pepper.
Cook on a medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side.
Remove from the pan, place on a rack, cover with foil and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Pat dry with kitchen paper.
Preheat a griddle or frying pan to the highest setting and brush the steak with oil all over.
Place the steak into the pan and cook for:
Medium: 1 - 1½ minutes per side
Well Done: 2 minutes per side
Turning the steak only once.
Remove the steak from the pan and place on a rack.
Cover loosely with foil and leave to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
To prevent the steak from curling up while it's cooking in the pan, just snip the fat at about 2.5 cm (1 inch) intervals all round.
