This cold smoked herring is a traditional British breakfast treat. Try it poached with some gently cooked, very buttery scrambled eggs.
Grill, Pan Fry, Poach or Steam.
Lay the kipper flat skin side up in the grill pan, (do not place on a rack).
Grill under moderate heat for 3 minutes.
Turn the kippers over dot each one with butter and grill for a further 3 minutes.
