This delicious luxury centrepiece is part of a long, local food tradition here in the North East of Scotland. Known as ‘Bradan Rost’ or roasted salmon, it has been hand prepared less than 35 miles from Donald Russell, in Scotland’s oldest salmon smokehouse – standing since 1585!
Defrost in fridge overnight. The product is now ready to eat cold.
Should you wish to serve it warm, remove packaging, wrap the side of salmon in foil, and place in an oven preheated to 140°C for 10-15 minutes.
We recommend gently carving the side of salmon into thick (1” or more) slices to serve, or letting your guests do this themselves as part of a buffet.
