Slices taken right across the rich, succulent beef cut from the lower rib, near the premium ribeye. For the best results, sear them fast and serve rare to medium rare.
Cook from Defrosted. About 20 minutes before you start cooking, remove the steaks from the refrigerator and open the packaging. This will allow the steak to 'bloom' and come to room temperature. Pre-heat a heavy frying pan or ridged griddle pan, grill or barbecue to a high temperature. Brush the steaks with oil. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side. Best serve medium-rare to medium. Place on a rack and rest somewhere warm for at least 2-3 minutes.
