All the flavour of grass-fed, 35 day aged ribeye steak, in a neater fillet cut.
If you love the richness of ribeye steak but prefer a smaller, slightly leaner steak, the fillet of ribeye is perfect. We carefully hand cut it from the main muscle of the ribeye, trimming all external fat off. It’s richly beefy, full-flavoured and delicious!
Brush with a little oil and cook in a preheated frying pan, over a high heat.
Cook the steaks to your liking following the recommended times:
Rare to Medium Rare: 1 - 1½ minutes per side, rest for 4 minutes
Medium: 2 -2½ minutes per side, rest for 3 minutes
Well Done: 3 -3 ½ minutes per side, rest for 1 minute
Remove from the pan, cover with foil and leave to rest in a warm place for the recommended time.
