Remove from refrigerator, open packet and allow to come to room temperature for at least 10 minutes. This will allow the full flavour to come through, and give the best texture. Ready to eat.
Parmigiano Reggiano
Enjoy as is, from a simple charcuterie plate, with a glass of Italian red wine or Prosecco. Serve the wedge of parmesan on its own as a deceptively addictive single cheeseboard, using a short knife to prise off chunks. Try the Parmigiano Reggiano as the locals of Reggio Emilia do - with a drop of their syrupy Aceto Balsamico Tradizione, or a balsamic reduction, on each morsel.
