Cooking Instructions:
 
Free-range Whole Chicken
Defrost thoroughly before cooking. Remove the chicken from packaging, pat dry with kitchen paper and allow to come to room temperature, this is for even cooking.

Preheat the oven to 230°C / fan 210°C / gas 8, season the chicken with salt and pepper.

Place chicken in a roasting tray and cook for 15 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 180°C / fan 160°C / gas 4 and cook for a further 15-18 minutes per 450g.

Once cooked rest in a warm place until ready to serve.

Pork, Sage & Onion Stuffing
Cooking guidelines: for best results cook from frozen in the oven. Remove film.

Cook the product in its original tray. Preheat oven to 180°C / fan 170°C / gas 4. Place the tray on a baking tray and cook for:

From frozen: 63-65 minutes
From defrosted: 45-48 minutes

Remove from oven and allow to rest for 5 -10 minutes before serving.

Goose Fat Roast Potatoes
Cooking guidelines: for best results, cook from frozen in the oven.

Remove film and arrange the potatoes in a single layer on a pre heated tray. Cook in a preheated oven 230°C / fan 210°C / gas 8 for:

30-35 minutes from frozen
25-30 minutes from defrosted

Gently turn the potatoes halfway through cooking time to ensure an even crispness.

Ensure products is piping hot throughout and stir before serving.
This product is not suitable for microwaving
Do not reheat once cooked.

Chef's tip: try adding 2-3 lightly crushed garlic cloves half way throughout the heating process to add a touch of extra flavour.

Please ensure that the oven is not over loaded as too much steam will prevent the potatoes from colouring and crisping up. If heating more than one portion at a time the temperature and timings may need to be increased.
Dauphinoise Potatoes
Cooking guidelines: remove sleeve and film, and place tray onto a baking tray. Cook in preheated oven at 200°C / fan 180°C / gas 6

from frozen: 40-45 minutes
from defrosted: 30-35 minutes

Remove from oven, ensure product is piping hot throughout then allow to stand for 2-3 minutes before serving.
Do not reheat once cooked.
Carrot & Parsnip Mash
Cooking guidelines from defrosted: Microwave: based on 750W.

Remove outer sleeve and pierce film lid. cook for 3 minutes and stir thoroughly, leave to stand for 1 minute and serve.

Oven: remove outer sleeve and pierce film lid.

Place the container onto a baking tray in the centre of a pre-heated oven 190°C / gas 5 for 20-25 minutes.

Stir and serve.

Ensure product is piping hot before serving.

Traditional Chicken Gravy
Cooking guidelines from defrosted:

Hob: decant contents into a saucepan. Heat gently over a medium heat. Stir occasionally until piping hot, serve immediately.

Microwave: based on 900W, on a medium setting.

Decant contents into a microwaveable dish, cover loosely and cook for 6 minutes until piping hot.

Stir well and serve immediately.

Do not reheat once cooked.
