Natural flavours combine with a hint of spices, for a tasty treat at brunches and breakfasts. Our black pudding is easy to slice and pan fry or oven cook.
Defrost in fridge overnight. Simply remove casing and slice 1½ - 2cm / ½ - ¾ inch thick.
Pan Fry: traditional method with oil
Pre heat a non-stick frying pan, add a little oil and cook for 2 - 3 minutes on each side until cooked through and crispy around the edges.
If you like your black pudding really well cooked & crispy, heat for a further 1 minute in a microwave on a plate covered with kitchen paper.
Oven: no oil required method
Pre heat oven to 200°C / 180°C fan / gas 6.
Line a baking tray with aluminium foil, place slices of pudding onto foil.
Cook for 15-20 minutes in the centre of the oven.
Ensure piping hot throughout before serving.
Storage: Store below -18°C. Defrost in the fridge and use within 72 hours.
