Cooking Instructions:
 
Beef Wellington Log
Cooking guidelines from defrosted:

Carefully remove from the packaging, leaving on the baking paper.
Allow to come to room temperature for at least 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 210°C / Fan 200°C / Gas 6 with a baking tray inside.
Brush pastry with beaten egg yolk.
Place the wellington (still on baking paper) onto the preheated baking tray and cook for:

Rare: 30-33 minutes
Medium: 40-43 minutes
Well done: 50-53 minutes

Remove from the oven and rest for 10 minutes before serving by carefully lifting the wellington from the baking paper.
To serve carefully lift the Wellington from the baking paper and slice into 1½ - 2cm slices.
Red Wine Jus
Hob: Open the bag and empty contents into a saucepan.
Heat gently over a medium heat.
Stir occasionally until piping hot.

Microwave: Based on 850W. Decant into a microwavable dish, cover loosely and cook for 2-2½ minutes from frozen or 1-1½ minutes from defrosted.
Allow to stand for 1 minute.
Stir before serving.

Ensure the product is piping not throughout. Do not reheat once cooked.

Mosimann's Christmas Pudding
For Best Results Cook/Serve From Ambient Room Temperature

MICROWAVE: Remove the outer packaging. Loosen lid.
Place on a microwavable plate and heat on full power for 4 minutes (800 watts).
Leave to stand for 2 minutes before serving.

STEAM: Remove the outer packaging.
Place bowl in a pan of simmering water (half the depth of the bowl).
Steam for 1 hour; topping up with boiling water as necessary.

Do not allow water to enter the pudding.
Do not allow to boil dry.
Remove the pudding from the saucepan.
Turn it out on to a warm dish. Dust it with sugar.
Pour a little warm Brandy over the Pudding.
Flame, and serve with either the brandy or yoghurt sauce.
Scottish Smoked Salmon with Malt Whisky
To enjoy smoked salmon at its best remove from fridge 10 minutes before separating the slices and serving.

Serve with fresh soda bread or good quality wholemeal for a delicious starter or light meal.
Wild Atlantic Prawns
As the prawns are already cooked and ready to eat after defrosting.

To enjoy them warm, simply gently reheat but do not boil or fry as this will make them tough.
