Enjoy the beautifully mellow flavours of our beef pie. With plenty of chunky beef pieces and layer upon layer of delicious pastry, you are in for a treat.
Once I've cooked these in the oven, I like to pop the pastry in then oven on its own for a bit longer. This gives it a really nice colour and rise.
Remove pie from outer packaging and place on a baking tray. Brush pastry with beaten egg yolk or cream. Cook in a pre-heated oven at 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6 for:
From defrosted: 25-30 minutes
From frozen: 45-50 minutes
Remove from oven and allow to stand for 2 minutes before serving.
