Cook from Defrosted. About 20 minutes before you start cooking, remove the defrosted steak from the refrigerator and open the packaging. This will allow the steak to come to room temperature.
Pre-heat a heavy frying pan or ridged griddle pan, grill or barbecue to a medium to high temperature.
Drizzle the steak with oil. Sear for 3½ -4 minutes per side.
Place steaks on a rack and rest somewhere warm for at least 2-3 minutes.
