Finely sliced potato, lightly coated in a crispy, spiced batter for a classic Indian treat. Served with a deliciously rich date and tamarind chutney sauce.

 

Cooking Instructions:
 
Heating guidelines from frozen: preheat oven to 190°C / 170°C fan / gas 5. Remove from packaging and set dip aside.

Place the aloo pakoda onto a baking tray and heat in the centre of the oven for 10 minutes. Turn halfway through heating time.

Remove the slices from the oven when hot throughout and allow to stand for 1 minute, dab on kitchen paper then serve.

Dip (based on 800W microwave): place dip pot on a microwaveable plate. Microwave on full power for 1 minute 30 seconds. Remove the dip from the microwave. Allow to stand for 30 seconds and stir well before serving. Care should be taken when removing film as steam may escape.

Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving.
Do not reheat once cooked.

Aloo pakoda: potato, water, gram flour, rapeseed oil, salt, ground turmeric, chilli powder, ajwain seeds, pomegranate powder, coriander leaf, baking powder (diphosphates, sodium carbonate, maize starch).
Date & tamarind chutney: sugar, date pulp (water, dates), water, distilled BARLEY malt vinegar, tamarind paste, ginger puree, salt, ground paprika, cumin seeds, garlic puree, yellow MUSTARD seeds, ground white pepper, red chilli flakes, chilli powder, rock salt, garam masala, chaat masala. May also contain nuts, peanuts & sesame seeds.
