Keep frozen at -18°C.
Freezer shelf life: 24 months from production (check product label).
For best results cook from frozen (Ceps are best semi-thawed and sliced first).
If defrosting, defrost in refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
Once defrosted, store below 5°C, do not refreeye, and use within 24 hours.
These have been fully prepared to be kitchen ready - there is no need to brush, wipe, rinse or trim
We recommend slicing them finely whilst still semi-frozen (so allow to thaw for up to 30 minutes) - this will help them keep their shape.
For the best presentation, slice down through the mushroom lenghtways - you'll get a perfect profile in each slice.
Cook for 2-3 minutes - either by sautéing in butter, or by adding straight into your finished sauce.
If using whole, allow to defrost prior to cooking, and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Conserve the defrosting juices to add to your sauce, simmering to reduce prior to serving.
Complement with a squeeze of lemon juice - the acid really brings out their flavour.
Please note: Take care not to overcook your Ceps, like all mushrooms, they are composed of mostly water and can go slimy if allowed to steam or boil.

We recommend keeping these whole for the best presentation.

If defrosting them, conserve the defrosting juices to add to your sauce, simmering to reduce prior to serving.
Great paired with sweett and strong savoury flavours like smoked streaky bacon.
Serve as an ideal accompaniment to wild game meats.
Please note: Chanterlles can have a slight bitter edge to their flavours - this is a natural feature of this mushroom. We suggest cooking them with shallot or pairing them with another naturally sweet ingredient to balance this subtle hint of bitterness.

We recommend keeping these whole for the best presentation.

Delicious with fresh fine herbs like chervil or chives.
A cream sauce will help to bring out and complement their complex, earthy flavour.
Please note: Our hand picked wild Morels have been hand brushed and washed for your convenience. However, occasionally traces of soil and grit can remain in the open honeycompb texture of these mushrooms, despite our efforts to remove it.

Only had the Chantarelles so far but they were excellent

Glad I found them, wonderful flavour.
Mixed reviews so far. Tried the morels with pasta, in a bacon, cream and white wine sauce. I liked the mushrooms, but my wife wasn't convinced. Will shortly try the other two types, which may generate a more positive overall review !
Again terribly disappointed. When thawed they were totally pulpy. The only good thing when thawed the water that came from them was good for cooking. Thanks for your feedback.
We're sorry we disappointed you in the first place, but delighted that you feel we dealt with the matter properly. If our customers are happy, then so are we.
Look good but Haven't used them yet but looking forward to a nice mushroom risotto.
Have to admit that the mushrooms are sitting in my freezer waiting for me to entertain... I have plans for a wonderful risotto and to add a few to a delicious back rib trim casserole and, if there are any left, shall have a wonderful omelette ...
Exceptional, really enjoyed these mushrooms
