Cooking Instructions
Cook from Frozen only:
Remove film lid and place the Toad in the Hole in its tray on a baking tray.

Cook in a pre-heated oven at 180ºC /Gas 4 for 40-45 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow to stand for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Ensure the product is thoroughly cooked and piping hot throughout.

Do not reheat once cooked

Please note this product is not suitable for microwave cooking.

Rich Onion Gravy:

Sauté 2 sliced Onions in 30g Butter and 1 tbsp Olive Oil until soft and caramelised. Add 1 tbsp Plain Flour to form a roux and stir until cooked out. Gradually stir in 1 pint Stock - vegetable, beef, pork or chicken - and a splash of Port, Cider or Cider Vinegar, and simmer until thickened. Pour over your Toad in the Hole and enjoy!

My husband adores this old-fashioned dish. Cooking from frozen is always good if plans go wrong or you are not organised enough!
