We recommend cooking from chilled. Defrost thoroughly in the fridge overnight. Heat sufficient vegetable oil in a frying pan to a medium heat. Fry for 4-6mins on each side until golden brown, adding more oil if necessary.
You can also cook from frozen. Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F / Gas 6. Remove packaging and place product on a lined baking tray. Brush both sides with a little vegetable oil and cook for 35-40 mins

extremely pleased with fish cakes
Fish cakes we purchase from you and are very happy with them. Would order again from Donald Russell.
Once I cooked from frozen in the oven, they are filling and tasty.
Really tasty but preferred when they had prawns in too
Good But little to salty otherwise ok
These were really enjoyable, lots of fish content! I did find they cooked in the oven better from frozen, than frying, but that probably just personal preference.
Good fishy fish cakes - one is enough.
Very filling I was unable to eat it all. Slightly dry as so much inn it
Full of fish, that's what its all about and very tasty
Great quality and fine taste
Little bit bland for me, prefer more seasoning.
Good supply of fish.. Just require to add some veg.
So much better than I expected.
Lots of fish instead of usual supermarket ones which have too much potato! Very tasty
Was very disappointed with this item - the fishcakes were quite dry with not a lot of taste. Not something I would buy again.
excellent as usual and very nice tasting
A bit dry and too much potato
These fish cakes are always top notch are always especially heavy on the fish with less potato than supermarket fish cakes.
Good 'hefty' size - not two stuck together as one might have imagined. Cooking time worked out well. Enjoyed.
It's a meal on it's own lovely with parsley sauce
