Keep frozen at -18ºC. Defrost for 12 hours in the fridge, store below 5ºC once defrosted and use within 24 hours.

Ingredients:
Lamb Shanks (78%), Water, Sugar, Malt Vinegar (BARLEY), Cornflour, Salt, Tomato Paste, Mint, Onion, Natural Caramel, Garlic Puree, Lamb Stock (Water, Lamb Bones, Meat, Fat, Tomato Paste, Carrot, Onion, Thyme), Dried Onion.

Nutritional Values: (typical per 100g):
Energy: 686 kJ / 163 kcal, Fat: 7.3g of which saturates: 3.3g, Carbohydrates: 5.5g of which are sugars 5.3g, Fibre: 0.5g, Protein: 19.1g, Salt: 1.0g.
Allow product to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes, whether frozen or defrosted. Remove packaging, emptying full contents into a heatproof dish.

Oven: Preheat to 200°C / Fan 190°C / Gas 6 and heat uncovered for:

45-50 minutes from frozen
25-30 minutes from defrosted

Microwave: Based on 850W. Loosely cover and heat for:

14-15 minutes from frozen
9-10 minutes from defrosted

Stir/baste halfway through cooking time (either method), keeping pieces separate.
Before serving, ensure meat is piping hot throughout and stir sauce.
For best results, we recommend heating in the oven from frozen.

Do not reheat.

Excellent Lamb Shanks in a delicious Mint Gravy. Great with mashed potato and mixture of green vegetables. The meat literally "fell off the bone".

Not had this before, but regularly buy raw lamb shanks. Prefer my own cooking, with home made mint sauce- this sauce too mild and sweet .
