Deliciously tender, deeply flavoured, slow cooked beef on the bone. After the 10 careful hours we've spent cooking this delicious beef rib cut 'sous vide', you just need to heat it in the oven from frozen for 55 minutes. The rich seams of fat have rendered and sweetened the meat during its slow cooking.

  Professionally shock frozen
Storage: Keep frozen at -18ºC or below

Defrost: In the fridge overnight. Store below 5ºC

Once defrosted, use within 24 hours (Can also be cooked from frozen)

Cooking instructions

To make the packaging easier to remove leave the product for 20 minutes at room temperature in its bag prior to roasting - you can pre-heat the oven during this time.

Remove all packaging and place bone side down, with all fat and liquid, onto a baking tray.

Cook in a preheated oven at 200ºC/Gas mark 6 or 190ºC for Fan assisted ovens:

40 - 45 minutes from defrosted
50 - 55 minutes from frozen

Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Ensure the product is piping hot throughout.
Do not reheat once cooked.

Please Note: Once cooked, the pan juices will be concentrated and highly flavoured. To use as a gravy, dilute to taste with water, light stock or wine. Or simply heat our rich, ready-made Ultimate Beef Gravy.

Serving suggestion:
Serve with wholegrain mustard mashed potatoes and roasted peppers, or steamed vegetables and horseradish sauce.

lovely food got for my grandson.
Pretty expensive for a small amount of meat I thought but well worth it. I put it in my slow cooker and the bones fell out of the meat and so tender and moist to eat. Certainly well worth buying and cooking for guests or special meals. I keep buying this and will continue to do so.
