Smoky Paprika Chicken Crown

Allow it to sit in its bag at room temperature for 10 minutes prior to roasting whether frozen or defrosted.
Remove all packaging and place skin side up, along with all fat and liquid from bag, into an ovenproof dish.
Cover with foil. Cook in a preheated oven at 200ºC/ Fan 190ºC/ Gas 6 for:
25 -30 minutes from defrosted
45 -50 minutes from frozen

Remove the foil and heat for a further 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Ensure the product is piping hot throughout. Do not reheat once cooked.
Please note: Once cooked, the juices may be very concentrated and highly flavoured. To use as a gravy, dilute or reduce to taste with water, light stock or wine.
You could also add a splash of cream to the sauce.
