Slow Cooked Beef Brisket in Stout Gravy

Ingredients:
Beef Brisket (70%), Beef Gravy (30%) (Water, Onion, Cornflour, Stout (BARLEY), Red Wine Vinegar, Tomato Paste, Beef Stock (Beef Bones, Beef, Water, Salt), Salt, Caramelised Sugar Syrup, Garlic Purée, Black Pepper, Bay Leaves).

For best results, cook from frozen.

Allow the Slow Cooked Beef in Port & Balsamic to sit in the bag at room temperature for 10 minutes prior to heating, whether frozen or defrosted.

MICROWAVE: Based on 800W. Tip the bag into a microwave-safe dish, cover and cook

FROM FROZEN: 6-7 minutes
FROM DEFROSTED: 2-3 minutes

Half way through cooking time, remove cover carefully and stir once.
Re-cover and continue to heat until piping hot. Stir again before serving.

OVEN: Tip the bag into an ovenproof dish along with all liquid.
Cook in a preheated oven at 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas 4 for:

FROM FROZEN: 40 - 45 minutes
FROM DEFROSTED: 30 - 35 minutes

Stir/baste half way through cooking.

HOB: Defrost in refrigerator overnight. Tip the bag into a saucepan.
Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until piping hot.
Ensure product is piping hot throughout. Do not reheat.

Slow Cooked Beef Olives in Onion & Ale Gravy

For best results, cook from frozen in the oven.

Allow the Slow Cooked Beef Olives to sit in the bag at room temperature for 10 minutes prior to heating, whether frozen or defrosted.

OVEN: Gently tip the bag into an ovenproof dish.
Cook in a preheated oven at 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas 4 for:

FROM FROZEN: 45 - 50 minutes
FROM DEFROSTED: 30 - 35 minutes

Baste half way through cooking.

MICROWAVE: Based on 800W. Gently tip the bag into a microwave-safe dish, cover and cook

FROM FROZEN: 8-9 minutes
FROM DEFROSTED: 5-6 minutes

Half way through cooking time, remove cover carefully and baste once.
Re-cover and continue to heat until piping hot.
Ensure product is piping hot throughout. Do not reheat.

Slow Cooked Beef Brisket in Stout Gravy

Allow product to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes, whether frozen or defrosted. Remove packaging, emptying full contents into a heatproof dish.

Oven: Preheat to 220°C / Fan 200°C / Gas 7 and heat uncovered for:

45-50 minutes from frozen
30-35 minutes from defrosted

Microwave: Based on 850W. Loosely cover and heat for:

10-11 minutes from frozen
6-7 minutes from defrosted

Stir/baste halfway through cooking time (either method).
Before serving, ensure meat is piping hot throughout and stir sauce.
For best results, we recommend heating in the oven from frozen.
Do not reheat.
