Sauces for Steak Burgers

Two quick and delicious sauces

Tomato and Basil Sauce
  • 1 Peeled Tomato
  • 20g Chopped Basil
  • 100g Tomato Ketchup
  • 10ml Olive Oil

Red Pepper Vinaigrette
  • ½ Red Pepper
  • 1 Small Shallot
  • 2 Stalks of Parsley
  • 50ml Chicken or Veg Stock
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp White Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tsp White Sugar

Sauces for Steak Burgers


Tomato and Basil Sauce

Core the peeled tomato, dice into small cubes and mix in the chopped basil, olive oil and tomato ketchup

Red Pepper Vinaigrette

Finely chop the pepper, shallot and parsley. Mix with the stock, olive oil, white wine vinegar and white sugar. Leave to marinade for 20 minutes then season to taste with salt and pepper
