Generously marbled, our traditionally matured ribeyes are bursting with the mellow flavour of prime rib, and are juicy and succulent when cooked, especially when following our How to cook the perfect steak

Head Butcher's Tip:

Ribeye can have an 'eye' of fat up to about the diameter of a 50p piece. This adds great flavour and succulence, but can sometimes have a trace of gristle around it - a natural part of this cut.

  • Matured on the bone for a minimum of 28 days
  • Heavily marbled for a rich, deep flavour

-18°C. Once defrosted store between 0 - 5°C. Use within 24 hours

Remove the steak from its packaging, allow the meat to come to room temperature for 20 minutes, patting dry with kitchen paper.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan, over a high heat. Cook the steaks to your liking following the recommended times.

Rare: 1-2 minutes per side, rest for 6 minutes
Medium: 3 minutes per side, rest for 4 minutes
Well Done: 4-5 minutes per side, rest for 1 minute

Remove from the pan, cover with foil and leave to rest in a warm place for the recommended time.

Very well received, the steaks are beautiful.
One excellent, one mediocre and one so tough as to be almost unchewable. One still to go.
Fantastic steaks with good flavour
Steaks are usually brilliant but my last two that I cooked I have to admit had a large amount of fat on them but overall they are brilliant
Am not a steak lover myself but my husband thought they were excellent.
I followed the chef's advice on 'How to cook' and they turned out perfectly.
Very tender so next time will cook a little more rare.

Best Ribeye Steaks we've ever eaten and we have tried many others from quality meat suppliers, however we would prefer more fat on our meat it's our favourite bit so it would be nice to have the choice between a little fat or a lot across all of the range.
Have always been excellent, and with your cooking tips they are SO tender.
Superior to anything I've bought in the supermarket.
