Our classic 80% prime pork sausage, with an added twist. Finely chopped leek adds a delicious sweetness – fantastic with mash and gravy.

Frozen at the peak of perfection
Store between -18ºC to -25ºC)
Defrost in refrigerator for 12 hours. Store below 5ºC use within 48 hours
Do not re-freeze once defrosted.
Remove all packaging.
Separate the sausages using scissors.
Do not prick sausages.

Combination of par-boiling and frying, BBQ or grilling:

Add the sausages to simmering water

From defrosted: 10 minutes
From frozen: 20 minutes.

Drain, pat dry, brush all over with oil and fry, bbq or grill for 5-8 minutes.

Alternatively:

Pan Fry: Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Cook on a medium heat 18-20 minutes from defrosted. Turning occasionally.

BBQ: 18-20 minutes from defrosted. Turn regularly to avoid charring.

Grill: Pre-heat grill to medium. Place sausages on grill rack for 14-18 minutes from defrosted. Turn occasionally.

Pork (80%), Water, Rusk (Fortified WHEATFLOUR (with added Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Salt), Seasoning (Salt, Dried Leek (1%), Onion Powder, Stabiliser: Sodium Triphosphate, Dextrose, Preservative: Sodium SULPHITE, Flavouring: Spice Extracts, Antioxidant: Ascorbic acid. Filled into Natural Pork Sausage Casings.

Much better than the run of the mill shop brands. Cooked by boiling first (from frozen as well - slightly longer in prep. time), then by traditional method, result excellent.

Skin is a bit heavy going. Good flavour though.

They were good but preffered the plain pork ones. But once again, a good quality meaty sausage with no shrinkage or fat.
