Slow-Cooked Chicken Legs

These chicken legs are cooked using a 'sous-vide' method favoured by chefs on the Continent, which really locks in the moisture and flavour. The result is a very tasty chicken, with excellent texture, that you can simply heat and serve for a main meal, or use in countless quick recipes, such as pasta, risotto, salads and sandwiches.

Storage and Handling
Keep frozen below - 18°C <>br To defrost the chicken leg, leave in wrapping on a plate overnight in the refrigerator, or until thoroughly defrosted<>br Once defrosted keep in the original wrapping at 0-5°C, and use within 24 hours<>br Remove from refrigerator at least 10 minutes prior to cooking<>br Do not refreeze once defrosted
Preparation Advice
Preheat the over to 180°C / 350°F / Gas 4<>br Before reheating remove all packaging. Place the chicken legs onto a non-stick roasting tray along with any juices remaining in the packet. Pour over 2 to 3 tbsp of cold water per leg.<>br Place uncovered into the centre of the oven for 25 minutes until heated through.<>br Remove the chicken legs from the oven and serve.
