Remove dessert from outer packaging, and place carefully into fridge to defrost for 8-10 hours or at room temperature for 2 hours.
When ready to serve simply cut across the width of the cake into generous layered slices.
Finish with your favourite accompaniment. We recommend serving with a handful of black cherries or raspberries and a small jug of pouring cream.
Rinse the knife in very hot water before slicing. This will help prevent the knife from sticking or tearing the dessert. After every cut, wipe off the knife for a more pristine slice.
