This new easy to carve Leg of Lamb roast is prepared using the traditional whole leg. Our butchers have removed the aitch bone and the knuckle bone only leaving the small shank bone, combining the flavour of roast lamb on the bone with much easier carving.

Note: Allow at Least 48 Hours to Defrost

Store below -18ºC
Defrost in refrigerator for up to 24 hours
Once defrosted store below 5ºC and use within 48 hours
Do not refreeze once defrosted
Cooking Guidelines:
Remove all packaging and pat dry with kitchen paper

Allow 30-60 minutes for the meat to come to room temperature

Temperatures & Times:
Pre-heat oven to 250ºC/Fan 230ºC/Gas 9
Place the joint in a roasting tray, season salt and pepper
Sear meat for 15 minutes in the oven
Reduce oven temperature to 190ºC/Fan 170ºC/Gas 5 and cook for:

Medium: 65-80 minutes
Internal temperature of meat: 55-60ºC

Well Done: 100-110 minutes
Internal temperature of meat: 65-70ºC

Remove from the oven and rest for at least 20 minutes in a warm place

Easy Carving
After resting, snip the strings, lift the meat off the bone.
Slice and serve on hot plates.

Delicious and was very easy to carve. If I remember correctly the instructions said to pull the bone out before carving but it couldn't just be pulled it would have had to be cut round so I didn't remove it. As ever, a beautiful piece of meat which the family all enjoyed on Easter Sunday - and we had some left over for at least one other meal!

A perfect family meal for Easter!
Very enjoyable leg of lamb traditionally enjoyed at Easter with the family, but normally we are just two very small meat eaters.
Lacking in taste. We were concerned during cooking when the usual cooking smells were slight to absent. An uninspiring joint of meat which we had ordered as a family lunch centrepiece. Extremely disappointing.
This is a superb joint for a dinner party where the guests are highly regarded!
This product was a great success for Christmas Day. We are a large gathering and everyone remarked how tender the meat was. We will certainly be repeating the experience.
