Frikadellen are like tall, rounded burgers, made extra moist and plump with onions, herbs, egg and breadcrumbs – nothing at all like their flatter, pure meat burger counterparts! If you haven’t tried them yet, you’re in for a treat. These lamb ones include a little pork mince for extra sweetness and juiciness, and because they’ve been hand rolled in crisp breadcrumbs, you’ll get a satisfying crunch too once you’ve cooked them to golden in the pan or oven.

Frozen at the peak of perfection
Keep frozen at -18ºC or below
Defrost: 12 hours in the fridge.
Store below 5ºC once defrosted and use within 24 hours.
Product can also be cooked in the oven from frozen.

For best results, pan-fry from defrosted.

Remove Frikadellen from packaging and preheat a heavy frying pan over a medium heat. Add a little oil and place Frikadellen into the pan.

Cook for 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Once golden brown and cooked, remove Frikadellen from the pan, place on a rack, and leave to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Alternatively, cook in the oven:

Remove Frikadellen from packaging and place onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush with a little oil and cook in a preheated oven at 210ºC/ Fan 200ºC/ Gas 7 for:

28 – 30 minutes from frozen
18 – 20 minutes from defrosted

Remove from the oven and rest in a warm place for 5 minutes before serving.

Ensure the product is piping hot throughout.
