Homemade stuffing balls

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, finely diced and sautéed until soft in 25g butter
  • 1x 450g Pork Sausagemeat
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 4-6 fresh sage leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • ½ tsp ground mace
  • 1-2 tbsp hot water to bind

    Instructions

    • Preheat oven and cook your roast as normal - unstuffed!
    • Using hands, squidge and mix all ingredients together
    • When your roast is cooked, take it out to rest somewhere warm
    • Roll stuffing into balls and bake in the oven at 180ºC for around 20 minutes - until cooked and going a little crispy
    • Arrange around your roast before carrying it to the table
