Our butchers have really turned back the years with this cut. After slicing off the Chump and Leg Steaks, as was traditionally done, they’ve kept ample Leg of Lamb on the bone to provide a fantastic roast dinner, without the leftovers.

Box Contains:

    • 1 Half Lamb Leg Roast, bone-in, 1.4kg

Defrost in refrigerator for 18 hours in the fridge.
Nutritional Values:Typical per 100g
Energy Values: 778kJ/187kcal, Fat: 12.3g of which saturates: 5.4g, Carbohydrates: 0g of which sugars: 0g, Protein: 19g, Salt: 0.15g.
Remove all packaging and pat dry with kitchen paper.
Allow 30-60 minutes for the meat to come to room temperature.
Cooking Temperatures & Times:
Pre-heat oven to 250ºC/Fan 230ºC/Gas 9
Place the joint in a roasting tray, season with salt and pepper.
Sear meat for 15 minutes in the oven.
Then educe oven temperature to 190ºC/Fan 170ºC/Gas 5 andcontinue cooking for:

Medium: 35-40 minutes
Well Done: 55-60 minutes

Resting: Once your joint is cooked to your liking, remove from the oven.
Place it on a board or platter, cover with foil and rest for at least 20 minutes

Easy Carving:
After resting, slice accross the grain and serve on hot plates
