A sumptuously rich duck, stuffed with turkey breast and tasty guineafowl, all layered with a gluten-free sage and caramelised red onion sausagemeat stuffing. This elegant roast has been carefully deboned and prepared by hand to make carving wonderfully easy – that’s one less thing to worry about!

Keep in original packaging at -18ºC or below. Do not refreeze once defrosted.

Freezer Shelf life: 24 months from production / see best before date on pack

Defrosting : Keep in original packaging and thaw slowly in a refrigerator. Once defrosted store between 0-5ºC and use within 24 hours.
For Fully Defrosted Birds
 
Remove all packaging, weigh and place the Three Bird Roast in a large roasting tin.  
Leave for at least an hour at room temperature
 
Pre-heat oven to 180ºC/355ºF or gas mark 5 (160ºC for fan assisted ovens)
 
Calculate cooking time allowing 50 minutes per kg (e.g. 2.5kg joint would take approximately 2 hours and 5 minutes & a 4.5kg joint would take approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes).

Season with salt & pepper. & loosely cover with aluminium foil and place in the middle of the oven
Roast the joint for the calculated time, basting occasionally with the pan juices  20 minutes before the end, remove the aluminium foil and continue to cook until the skin becomes crispy.
Ensure that the centre of the roast is piping hot and that the juices run clear.
A minimum core temperature of 75ºC is recommended.
Allow the roast to rest for 15 minutes before carving.
 
Please take care to remove any string before serving.

Ensure the product is piping hot throughout.
Do not reheat once cooked.

Plenty of moist tender meat , no waste . Cooking instructions were very good . 6 generous portions with plenty left over for sandwiches etc . Will definitely buy again

Loved this roast, we ate it on Christmas Day, definitely better than turkey for our family!

Followed the instructions for cooking however it took an additional 2 hours to be cooked. 4 and a half hours!!!!! Was meant to be ready for dinner on Christmas day but ended up being supper.

I was a bit concerned about the previous bad reviews, however, this was our Christmas dinner.
