Was disappointed in texture of this meat. I made a game pie and everyone enjoyed it so could be my own preference but I thought it was tough.

I always use these to make a Moroccan influenced pie with fIlo pastry, spices, herbs, nuts and honey. The game birds should be cooked on a low simmer and not for too long otherwise the meat will go dry. I serve with New potatoes and seasonal veg.

superb taste and a lovely mix. Makes a hearty pie for cold days served with sautéed potatoes and roasted veg with a nice glass of red wine on the side.

I always use these to make my Greek inspired game pie, but I haven't mastered the slow braise yet as I always seem to over cook them and make them a little too dry. They still taste great though.
