Donald Russell Meat Delivery

Here at Donald Russell, we aim to provide you with the best quality and service possible. We use national couriers to deliver your order, which is securely packed in our pioneering chilled boxes. We also offer a professional freezing service at no extra charge to ensure your meat arrives in the best possible condition.

Standard delivery charges
Free Delivery on all orders of £80 or more 
NEW: Lower Standard Delivery Costs - just £5 for orders under £80 anywhere in the UK mainland, Tuesday - Saturday inclusive.  

NO SURCHARGE FOR SATURDAY DELIVERY

PLEASE NOTE: At the present time we can deliver to the UK mainland and some EU countries - Saturday is only available in certain postcode areas on a Saturday. If in doubt please call us first to check availability and charges for EU delivery.

Earliest delivery date
We can deliver your order on any day that suits you, from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive. The earliest delivery date available is usually no more than three working days from the date you place your order, and is often less, e.g:

• Order on Monday, get your order on Thursday
• Order on Tuesday, get your order on Friday
• Order on Wednesday, get your order on Saturday

You can select your exact delivery date at checkout stage from our up-to-date delivery date calendar.

Your order will be delivered between 8.30am and 5.30pm on the date you choose. We can't give you an exact time for delivery, but we can aske the driver to leave it somewhere safe if you're out. Please provide instructions for the driver, such as a neighbour's address, or a safe place to leave your box such as a patio or garage.

You can also arrange delivery to your workplace, or to a neighbour or friend if it's more convenient, at no extra charge.

Please note that delivery dates may be affected by public and bank holidays. You can always see the next available delivery date on our delivery date calendar at checkout, but if you are in any doubt, please feel free to call us on 01467 629666 and we'll answer any queries you might have.

Charges for export
All export deliveries outwith UK will occur a delivery charge of £20.95.

Charges for delivery to remote areas

The following postcodes will incur an additional £7 surcharge. Please note these charges will not show on your order confirmation e-mail but will be added when your order is invoiced.

Chilled or Frozen?

We can professionally freeze your order, free of charge. Our specialised freezers allow us to shock freeze your goods, locking in taste and nutrients that could otherwise be lost, and ensuring that you get the highest quality products delivered to your door.

The Benefits of Shock Freezing:
It's Fresher - Our freezers chill faster and at much lower temperatures than home-freezing, which locks in the freshness. With professional shock freezing, your meat loses less fluid, so it stays juicy and succulent when it's cooked.

It's Safer - Your meat goes into our freezer straight after cutting and consequently it contains very little bacteria. It leaves our freezers nearly twice as cold as with conventional home freezers which better prevents bacterial development.

It's Convenient - Your food arrives frozen solid in conveniently sized portions, ready to pop straight into your freezer. Each item is clearly labelled and bagged in special packaging that helps prevent freezer burn. Use it when you're ready - simply allow your meat to thaw in the pack for maximum freshness.

For maximum quality always ask us to freeze your order.

Mixed orders
For health and safety reasons, we cannot mix chilled and frozen products in the same order. If your order includes any product marked as "Supplied Frozen Only" we will professionally freeze all of your goods at no extra cost.
Our range also includes certain products, such as our bacon and smoked salmon, which cannot be delivered frozen. These products will be delivered separately from any frozen goods you have ordered. In these cases we will make every effort to match your orders so that they are delivered at the same time and date.

PLEASE TAKE CARE

Your goods are packed with dry ice packets.

These should not be handled with bare hands, as dry ice can cause frostbite.
