Bacon & Walnut Stuffing

Aromatic homemade stuffing


  • 4 rachers, dry-cured smoked streaky bacon, chopped
  • 1 x 450g pack Pork Sausagemeat
  • 1 slice white bread, cubed
  • 1 stick celery and ½ small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated lemon zest
  • ½ tsp each grated nutmeg and ground black pepper
  • 6-10 walnuts, chopped into quarters
  • 2 tsp English Mustard, beaten into 1 egg
  • Bacon & Walnut Stuffing


    • Preheat oven and cook your roast as normal - unstuffed!
    • Using hands, squidge and mix all ingredients together
    • When your roast is cooked, take it out to rest somewhere warm
    • Roll stuffing into balls and bake in the oven at 180ºC for around 20 minutes - until cooked and going a little crispy
    • Arrange around your roast before carrying it to the table
