
Our Beef Wellingtons have finally made a welcome return to our website and catalogue and it seems you could not be happier to see this delicious product back on sale. In the past we outsourced the production of our wellingtons but Head Chef Stefan decided that for their re-launch he wanted to take back full control and produce them here in Inverurie. So under his close supervision we began trialling various quantities and methods before settling on the final recipe.

So what makes our Beef Wellingtons much better than their competition I hear you ask? Well to start with we use only the finest quality grass-fed beef fillet which has been trimmed by our Butchers leaving it free of silverskin and fat. The meltingly tender beef fillet is then encased with a deliciously deep mushroom duxelle and all lovingly covered with a butter rich puff pastry.
You’ll be pleased to hear that cooking these beauties is as easy as ABC…
Defrost, preheat the oven and brush the wellington(s) with a little beaten egg yoke and pop it into the oven. Head Chef Stefan has provided cooking times allowing you to cook the fillet exactly to your liking. Please see the individual products on our website for specific oven temperatures.
