Produced in Scotland, our Black Pudding is very delicately spiced and is full of natural flavours. Superb for late breakfasts and brunches, but so hard to find, especially of this quality. Pre-cut into rounds, simply fry in a little oil for a satisfying and unusual brunch - real foodies will have a field day!

Cooking Instructions:
Defrost in refrigerator overnight - then simply remove casing.

Pan Fry
Pre heat a non-stick frying pan, add a little oil and cook for 2-3 minutes oneach side until cooked through and crispy around the edges.

Chef's tip If you like your black pudding really well cooked & crispy, heat for a further 1 minute in a microwave on a plate covered with kitchen paper.

Oven Method
Pre heat oven to 200ºC (180ºC fan) / 350ºF / Gas 4. Line a baking tray with aluminium foil, place slices of pudding onto foil. Cook for 15-20 minutes in the centre of the oven.
Contains: Wheat, Gluten, Beef, Pork. May contain nut traces

Superb Black Pudding, I have tried other Black Puddings from butchers/supermarkets to try and find some that are as good as these Donald Russell puddings but without success.
Go on order some,you will not be disappointed.

The black pudding was excellent. It is some of the best I have ever had.

Never liked black pudding until I tried this. Now, no fry-up is complete without it. Also,try it with scallops, or as a starter with a poached egg.
