Hand made apple pie with homemade vanilla custard – life doesn’t get any sweeter than this! Each pie is made by hand by trained patisserie chefs, using the finest Bramley apples, butter-enriched pastry and more. Like our other desserts, a handy paper ring allows easy cooking from frozen in your oven, and restaurant presentation on the plate.

The microwaveable homemade-style custard is worlds apart from shop-bought varieties – our sauce is creamy and wholesome, speckled with real bourbon vanilla seeds. More like a chef’s crème anglaise, it is the perfect, comforting partner to our Apple Pie. Just heat them both from frozen and pretend you made it all yourself…

Bramley Apples, Fortified WHEAT Flour (with added Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Granulated Sugar, Vegetable Oil, Butter (MILK), Modified Starch, EGG White, Baking Powder, Salt, Citric Acid, Egg, Sorbitol, Emulsifier.

Nutritional Values: Typical per 100g
Energy 743kJ / 178kcal, Fat: 6.0g, of which saturates 3.2g, Carbohydrates: 31.0g, of which sugars 19.0g, Fibre: 1.4g, Protein: 1.8g, Salt: 0.18g.

Cooking guidelines: Cook from frozen. (Please note: using a microwave will make the pastry go soggy.)
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 180ºC/Fan 160ºC/Gas 4.
Remove outer film. Carefully place each pie, still in its ring onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.

Step 2:
Remove from the oven.
Carefully transfer the pie in its ring, onto a plate, using a spatula as the ring does not have a bottom.
Allow to rest for 3-5 minutes.

Step 3:
Using a knife, loosen the pie from its ring. Carefully open and remove the ring and finish with Donald Russell Vanilla Custard, cream or ice cream.

Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving.
